Occupational therapy,
grounded in real life.

We are a Launceston-based allied health practice servicing the North and North West of Tasmania.

We work with you in your own home and in your community to build practical skills, confidence and independence.

Occupational therapy is about the activities that occupy your time. The big and small things that add up to a life.

That might mean:

  • Getting safely in and out of a chair

  • Brushing teeth independently

  • Preparing a meal

  • Recommending equipment to help you live your life

  • Navigating your community

  • Modifying your home to improve safety and independence

  • Building daily living skills

  • Determining what supports you need to help you live your life

We focus on what matters most to you and we meet you where you are at. We are 100% community based and we come to you.

WHAT WE OFFER

Three people, two men and one woman, are outside on a sports field, with two wheelchairs. One man is sitting in a wheelchair, while the woman is adjusting something on the other. The man in the wheelchair is wearing a black helmet and a black hoodie, and has tattoos on his arms. The woman has long brown hair and is wearing a gray T-shirt. The other man is standing, smiling, and wearing a baseball cap, glasses, a puffy jacket, and jeans. They are engaged in preparing or adjusting the wheelchairs.

Our services are practical and outcomes-focused. We offer:

  • Functional capacity assessments

  • Support needs assessments

  • Equipment prescription

  • Home modifications

  • Daily living skill development

  • Ongoing therapy support

If you’re unsure what you need, get in touch. We can help clarify the right starting point.

WE’RE GUIDED BY WHAT MATTERS

Getting off-track is okay (in fact, it’s mandatory!)

Failure and learning are essential parts of the human experience. What matters most about straying from the path is reaching out and asking for help. We encourage and celebrate this approach to life with our team, our clients and our families.

Growth is part of life

We’re not chasing perfection. What brings the most fulfillment is growth in knowledge, understanding and relationships. When we know better, understand better and relate better, we all grow.

Mud is for the outdoors, not words

It’s better for everyone if the truth is spoken plainly and simply. We’re not interested in muddying the waters when we speak. That way we don’t waste time being ‘nice’ when what’s needed is a clear direction to follow.

WE’RE all LIVing and learning

While we’re all travelling our own unique path, our own lived experience is essential to allow us to bring compassion and focus to how we support our team and our clients.

There is no ‘right’ path to follow

There’s more than one way to live a meaningful life. In fact, we don’t tell anyone how to live their life, we support the creation of an individual’s map and help keep them on track.

Do THE hard things

Life is full of hard things… when we can embrace and lean into hard things (that are meaningful), instead of shying away from them, we are able to experience the joy of accomplishment and purpose. After all, the hardest journeys often reveal the greatest views and rewards.

Abundance flows both ways

Every quarter, we donate 3% of our profits to a charity as chosen by our team.

We acknowledge that we benefit from serving the community and choose to share that abundance in return.
